Old town is an access point for Jail trail, which leads to the Verde River, Cottonwoods River front Park, Dead Horse State Park, and more. These wonderful greenbelt parks having, biking, hiking, walking, fishing, bird watching, baseball, softball, disc golf and so much more. Many people come to Old town, enjoy some time outdoors, followed with a delicious meal. In old town there is even a pocket park with basket ball court and a small venue for live music and farmers markets.

There are also several vacation rentals near too and within Old town that are well rated. If you are looking to get into the vacation rental market, Old Town Cottonwood is a great place to start. There are even a few dog friendly options for those of you who are looking to travel to Cottonwood with your pups. Just outside of Old Town Cottonwood there is lodging in Cottonwood, Clarkdale and Jerome.
Many people choose to stay in Old Town Cottonwood and use it as a base camp to explore Old town and all of the surrounding communities and outdoor recreation options. It is a great basecamp for your Sedona and Verde Valley Get-a-way.
